Now is perhaps the best season coming up to take a walk in the vineyards and perhaps join a fête de vendange (harvest festival). The vines turn golden, the lake deep blue and the autumn light does its best to enhance it - simply an excellent sunday hike!

If you are very sporty you could walk all the way from Lutry to Chateaux de Chillon which would make around 30 km of walking. If you just want to do a smaller tour, take the train to Cully and walk from there towards Vevey. When you are tired there are several trainstops on the way to take.
